Shear Fanatics specializes in cranial prosthetics (medical wigs), custom units, and ready-to-wear wigs. All products and services are offered in accordance with state cosmetology and medical wig standards.

By using our services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have consent from a parent or guardian.

2. Custom & Medical Units

All custom cranial prosthetics and medical units are handcrafted to your individual specifications.

• Once an order is placed and production begins, it cannot be canceled, modified, refunded, or exchanged.
• Due to hygiene, medical regulations, and the custom nature of our products, all sales are final.
• Clients are responsible for confirming all design details, measurements, and medical information prior to order approval.

3. Ready-to-Wear Units

All ready-to-wear wigs are final sale. Each unit is inspected and sanitized before shipment.

No exchanges or refunds are accepted once a unit has been shipped or picked up.

4. Insurance & Billing

Shear Fanatics offers support with insurance verification and claim submission for medical wigs (cranial prosthetics).

However:

• Approval or reimbursement from your insurance provider is not guaranteed.
• Clients are responsible for confirming their own coverage and benefits prior to purchase.
• Once a cranial prosthesis has been dispensed or billed to insurance, it cannot be refunded, replaced, or resubmitted.

5. Consultations & Appointments

All consultations are by appointment only.

• Late arrivals may shorten your appointment time or require rescheduling.
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid forfeiting your booking fee.
• Booking fees are non-refundable but may be applied toward a future appointment at Shear Fanatics’ discretion.

6. Quality & Variations

Each wig is handcrafted using 100% human hair or medical-grade materials.

Slight variations in texture, color tone, or density are natural and not considered defects.

Our team ensures that every unit meets Shear Fanatics’ quality standards before release.

7. Intellectual Property

8. Privacy & Data Protection

Client information is kept strictly confidential.

Any medical or personal data collected is used only for insurance verification, order processing, or client communication.

Shear Fanatics is not liable for any allergic reactions, improper maintenance, or damages resulting from misuse or alteration of wigs or prosthetics after delivery.
